Public Service Commission Denies Appointment of Journalist Jacque Maribe as Head of Communication

In response to recent reports circulating in the media, the Public Service Commission has clarified that it has not appointed journalist Jacque Maribe as Head of Communication.

The Commission issued a statement addressing the misinformation, emphasizing that no such appointment has been made within the Ministry of Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management.

Speculation had arisen following claims of Maribe's appointment by Moses Kuria, the Minister of Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management. However, the Commission asserts that it is the sole authority responsible for official appointments within the public service sector.

While Maribe's talents and experience in communication are well-recognized, the Commission emphasizes the importance of adhering to proper procedures and protocols in all appointments to government positions.

This clarification underscores the need for accuracy and accountability in reporting, especially concerning matters related to government appointments and official announcements.

As of now, the position of Head of Communication at the Ministry of Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management remains vacant, pending any official announcements from the Public Service Commission.

The Commission assures the public that it remains committed to upholding transparency and integrity in all its processes and decisions, reaffirming its mandate to oversee appointments within the public service sector.

In light of this development, any claims regarding Jacque Maribe's appointment should be treated with caution until officially confirmed by the Public Service Commission.
